What is a Jewelry Box Review?
· First of all, it’s FUN. Star, an award-winning jewelry designer with over twenty years experience, will sit down with you and together you will explore and evaluate your fine jewelry collection. Here’s what you can expect:
· “Sparkle Service” (inspection and cleaning). Star will inspect and clean up to five items for free and you can opt to have more done for a nominal fee. If you have items that are showing some wear, we can refinish and polish them and give them a “like new” appearance again for a nominal charge (in most cases).
· Expert Jewelry Repairs. Star can identify any items that need repair. Our master goldsmith, Michael Chapman, will inspect and make recommendations. This includes replacing damaged or missing prongs, sizing rings, pearl restringing, gem replacement, etc. Together you can decide what your budget and priorities are and in no time you can be wearing some of your old favorites again.
· “Restyle” your existing jewelry or gemstones into something new and fabulous. Be prepared to be surprised and delighted with Star’s unique re-design ideas. This might involve combining things that you already have. Star will brainstorm with you and, if you are interested, she will prepare custom design sketches and estimates for a nominal design fee. She can also provide additional materials and gemstones to fill out your collection.
· $$$for your old gold jewelry. Almost everyone has a half pair of earrings, a broken chain, or an old ring they no longer wear, you might consider selling items that you no longer want or love. Star will buy your old gold (10k, 14k or 18k). Or you can maximize your return by accepting a store credit for an additional 25%!
· Protect your investment with documentation and appraisals. We can document your fine jewelry collection and update your appraisals on important pieces. This will ensure that your insurance coverage reflects up to date values and information. These services are provided for an additional fee.
